Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 23 - 0, fighting out of New York, Salyn Sarethi!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarethi gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Kusnemirpow counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Salyn Sarethi has been cut.
Sarethi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sarethi fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Kusnemirpow scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Kusnemirpow is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Sarethi!
Sarethi is controlling an arm, preventing Kusnemirpow from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kusnemirpow swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Sarethi is now in Kusnemirpow's guard. A big mistake from Kusnemirpow there, giving up the dominant position!
Sarethi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kusnemirpow working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sarethi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sarethi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kusnemirpow is looking for a sweep. Sarethi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Sarethi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kusnemirpow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
