Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phil Rivers (ranked 1945 p4p, 2735 weight class) and Dougie McFistface (ranked 202 p4p, 272 weight class). Rivers's entrance music is RUNNING IN THE 90’s. A fine choice. McFistface has chosen Tiptoe Through The Tulips as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phil Rivers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 17 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dougie McFistface! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivers cracks McFistface with an open hand slap. Rivers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McFistface manages to avoid it. McFistface displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rivers throws out the jab. Phil Rivers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rivers blocks a head kick by McFistface.
Rivers uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McFistface has time to react. Rivers swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rivers bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McFistface's head. Rivers misses with a hook
and McFistface counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. McFistface slips a nice elbow through Rivers's hands, connecting with Rivers's forehead. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rivers regains full guard. Nicely done. Rivers has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. McFistface doesn't defend quickly enough and Rivers has managed to lock this one up! Can McFistface escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Rivers on a fantastic submission victory.
