Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Toe Licker (ranked 2951 p4p, 3289 weight class) and Cody Shelton (ranked 295 p4p, 328 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Cody Shelton was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Licker looks to land a combination but Shelton avoids it well.
Licker throws the kick towards the body but Shelton avoids it.
Licker connects with a single shot there.
Shelton lunges at Licker with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Licker's hand.
Licker throws a body punch but Shelton moves out of range.
Shelton swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Toe Licker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Licker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Licker takes one on the button.
Licker tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Shelton defends well and Licker ends up having to push Shelton into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Shelton misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Shelton lands with a right to the head.
Shelton keeps control of Licker as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Shelton goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Shelton tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Licker's elbow.
Shelton throws a punch but it's blocked by Licker.
Shelton is working for takedown but Licker is calmly controlling the position for now.
Licker blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Licker is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Shelton is keeping busy.
Licker tries to circle away but Shelton has him pinned against the cage.
Shelton displaying some good clinch control by pressing Licker up against the cage.
Shelton lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Shelton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Licker misses with a series of wild punches.

Nice uppercut lands for Shelton. That snapped Licker's head back.

enabling Shelton to counter with a crisp jab.
Shelton lunges at Licker with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Licker's hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Licker is rocked!
Shelton is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Licker had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Licker throws a hook but Shelton blocks it.
Oh Licker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shelton circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Licker to the canvas! Licker doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Shelton keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
