Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marius Dabija (ranked 5227 p4p, 5367 weight class) and Rafael Sierra (ranked 331 p4p, 336 weight class). Dabija comes to the cage accompanied by Hajime no Ippo Intro 3. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marius Dabija! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rafael Sierra! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sierra darts in trying to clinch and Dabija counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dabija's corner is telling him to maintain position. Dabija thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Sierra really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dabija. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dabija stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sierra swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dabija drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sierra looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sierra looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sierra! Sierra trying to control the position but Dabija is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sierra looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Dabija is avoiding damage well.
Dabija is looking to reverse the position. Sierra tries to stand but Dabija is controlling his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sierra decides to take the fight back to the feet. Dabija looking to score a takedown here. Sierra is defending well but Dabija drives through and ends up in Sierra's guard. Sierra is looking to stand back up but Dabija counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sierra. Well, if Dabija is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Dabija wants to pass to mount but Sierra is defending the position. Dabija is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sierra is just riding it out for now. Dabija eventually gives up the hold. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dabija is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dabija maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Sierra could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Dabija has cracked it and Sierra is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Dabija!
