Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ethen Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Figger Nagget!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagget shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Diaz but Diaz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nagget throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
As Nagget looks to move away, Diaz throws a big counter combo but Nagget just gets out of the way.
Diaz has managed to clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Diaz avoiding damage as Nagget throws knees to the body.
Nagget is trying to push Diaz away but Diaz has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Diaz jumps guard.
Diaz has control of Nagget's left arm, preventing Nagget from doing any damage.
Diaz scrambles and gets back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diaz instigates a clinch.
Diaz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Diaz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Diaz has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Diaz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Diaz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Nagget postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Diaz is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nagget, into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz content to stall in guard here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Diaz wants to stand but Nagget has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Diaz makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Diaz scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Diaz is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Diaz slips nicely into half guard.
Diaz decides to stand up.
Diaz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Nagget is looking to get back to his feet here but Diaz is keeping cool and he's managed to take Nagget's back.
Diaz sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Nagget taps out!
