Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Adam Jr (ranked 2909 p4p, 25435 weight class) and Ayden Lopez (ranked 358 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. John Adam Jr is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adam Jr shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lopez's guard.

Lopez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adam Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Adam Jr is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Adam Jr's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Adam Jr has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
