Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tai Kong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ryland Bronx!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronx avoids the head kick by Kong.
A jab from Bronx misses.
Horrible takedown attempt by Bronx or perhaps it was just good defense by Kong, which made it look bad.
Kong on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Bronx loads up on a big right hand but Kong slips the punch.
Bronx checks a low kick from Kong.
Kong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A jab from Bronx misses.
Bronx shoots in looking for a takedown but Kong manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bronx's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kong clinches with his opponent.
Bronx goes for a takedown attempt but Kong pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Tai Kong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryland Bronx.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bronx, as that shot connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kong tries to clinch up.
A little jabbing left from Bronx on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Bronx misses the shot to the body.
Bronx throws a hook but Kong avoids it easily.
Jab by Bronx.
Bronx throws an overhand right that lands on Kong's shoulder, as Kong tries to avoid the shot.
Kong defending well as Bronx loads up on a big left hand.
Tai Kong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kong closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Kong is rocked!
Bronx steps in with a hook that catches Kong right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Bronx follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Kong looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryland Bronx!
