Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Francesco Garrone (ranked 2146 p4p, 1072 weight class) and Callum McCewen (ranked 222 p4p, 117 weight class). McCewen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Highway to Hell - AC/DC kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Francesco Garrone had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Callum McCewen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garrone throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McCewen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
McCewen lands a nice hook to Garrone's body. Garrone takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

McCewen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
McCewen has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Garrone is landing a low percentage of strikes.
