The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mauricio is looking to clinch but Ibarra is avoiding it.
Ibarra stuffs the takedown attempt from Mauricio. Mauricio gets slowly back to his feet.
Ibarra stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ibarra wants it to stay on the feet.
Ibarra lands with a nice combination. Mauricio backs away looking to recover.

Elian Ibarra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
