Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Irvin Holland (ranked 4146 p4p, 4689 weight class) and Carl Mohn (ranked 432 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Irvin Holland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carl Mohn!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Holland.
Holland swats away the attempt to clinch by Mohn.
Mohn misses with a body shot.
Mohn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Holland clinches.
Holland gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Holland knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mohn on the ground.
Still in half guard, Holland seems content to control.
Holland stands up out of the half guard.
Holland throws a right hand that Mohn ducks under and follows up with a left that Mohn also avoids with ease.
Mohn throws a combination. Holland tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Holland gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Holland pushes off an throws an elbow but Mohn leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Mohn tries to pull guard but Holland holds him up against the cage and eventually Mohn drops back down to his feet.

Holland wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Mohn is working for a kimura but Holland is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mohn wants to pass to mount but Holland is defending the position.
Holland pushes Mohn off and gets back to his feet.
Mohn cracks a nice hook into Holland's ribs.
Mohn looks to score with a jab to the body but Holland is just out of range.

Mohn gets tackled into the cage by Holland. Holland maintains the clinch.
Mohn tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Holland smiles and moves away.

Holland moves into range and clinches up with Mohn.
Mohn tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Holland closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mohn throws a right and a left that Holland avoids nicely.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Mohn enables Holland to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mohn manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Holland stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Holland has Mohn up against the cage in a clinch.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Holland's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mohn gets caught flat footed, as Holland shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Holland gets to his feet. Mohn looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Mohn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Holland was well out of range. Poor timing from Mohn.

Holland manages to break the clinch.
Holland rushes Mohn and presses him up against the cage.
Holland has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Mohn is trying to keep an underhook but Holland manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holland is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Mohn tries to sprawl but Holland drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mohn makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mohn.
Mohn is trying to control the position but Holland postures up.
Holland gets to his feet - Mohn follows without any prompting.

Holland is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mohn can do to turn this around?
Mohn tries to stall but Holland uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Holland breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mohn moves out of range of the strikes.
Mohn wants to counter the offense by Holland and move into the clinch position.
Mohn clobbers Holland with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Holland has Mohn up against the cage in a clinch.
Holland breaks the clinch.
Mohn lunges at Holland with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Holland's hand.
Mohn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Mohn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Holland paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Holland throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mohn was covering up waiting for the punch and Holland finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mohn is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Holland has his hands clasped together but Mohn extends and breaks Holland's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Mohn.
