Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Luc Harrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kingi Ropata!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ropata slips a straight right by Harrison.
A jab lands there for Ropata.
Harrison throws out a loose jab but Ropata uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ropata staying out of range there.
Ropata uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Harrison has time to react.
Harrison throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Harrison throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ropata.
Harrison swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ropata steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Harrison.
Ropata connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Harrison smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ropata lands a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ropata staying out of range there.
Ropata lands with a hook. Harrison tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Harrison drops Ropata with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ropata looks back up at him and smiles so Harrison waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Kingi Ropata has been cut.
Ropata fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Harrison misses with a hook.
Ropata lands the left hand.
Harrison misses with an uppercut.
Ropata should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Ropata connects with the punch.
Ropata ducks under a wild hook from Harrison.
Ropata scores with a nice head shot.

Harrison missing with a left hand there. Ropata was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Harrison looks to throw the jab but Ropata is out of range.

Oooooh!!! Harrison has knocked Ropata down with a huge combo! Harrison steps away and waves a wobbly Ropata back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Ropata leaves his chin hanging out and Harrison seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Ropata crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
