Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luffy San (ranked 3114 p4p, 3847 weight class) and Austin Chase (ranked 309 p4p, 371 weight class). Austin Chase is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Austin Chase!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase looks to land a combination but San avoids it well.
Chase shoots in and bounces San off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Chase avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Chase in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chase's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Chase must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chase postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! San is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Chase, into his guard.
San is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
San advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
San lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
San wants to work for an arm triangle but Chase is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
San maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Chase could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but San has cracked it and Chase is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by San!

After winning the bout, Luffy San thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
