Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilbur Ratt (ranked 1760 p4p, 3096 weight class) and Stuart Burrows (ranked 59 p4p, 123 weight class). Ratt comes to the cage accompanied by ABRACADABRA- Super Eurobeat. Burrows is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Baba O'Riley. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ratt feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Burrowss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Ratt throws a big counter combination but Burrows scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
We've been told by Ratt's head coaches at Crapollas Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Burrows throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ratt on the side of the head.
Ratt throws a head kick but Burrows moves out of range.
Ratt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Burrows manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A looping hook to the body misses from Burrows. Ratt does a little dance to reset his feet.

Ratt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Burrows.

Burrows has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Ratt closes the distance and clinches.

Burrows bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ratt's guard.

Ratt has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Burrows can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Burrows is trying to work for a kimura but Ratt is defending well.

Burrows has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Burrows working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Ratt looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Burrows! Submission of the night perhaps?
