The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nguyen defends it nicely.
Nguyen lands a two punch combo.

Michaels changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nguyen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Nguyen bucks up and tries to throw Michaels off but instead Michaels has got his back!

Nguyen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
