This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 17 wins and 17 losses; Ceferino Garcia! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Garcia gets a clinch. Fontaine tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Garcia smiles and moves away.
Fontaine tries to close the distance and clinch up but Garcia swats him away and circles back towards the center. Garcia steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Fontaine. Garcia closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Garcia manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Fontaine passes Garcia's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Fontaine will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
