Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Ness (ranked 1813 p4p, 682 weight class) and Hail Satan (ranked 221 p4p, 88 weight class). Ness's entrance music is Cocaine. A fine choice. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Ness! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hail Satan! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ness shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Satan counters with a nice uppercut. Ness walks into a jab. Ness is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Satan's half guard. Ness is keen to just control but Satan is a slippery customer. Ness perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ness is trying to control. Satan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Satan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ness. That's three minutes gone in the round. Ness tries for a takedown but Satan circles away easily and Satan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Ness misses with a takedown and Satan counters with a lovely straight right hand! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Ness. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ness. Ness uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Satan.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Satan lands with a shot to the body. Ness shoots in for a takedown but Satan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ness looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A countering left hand to the body from Satan misses. Ness is breathing heavily. Ness with a lazy takedown attempt enabling Satan to counter with a crisp jab. Ness shoots in but no luck this time. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Satan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Rick Ness seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ness tries for a takedown but Satan circles away easily and Ness takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Satan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Satan digs a good body shot into Ness's ribs. Satan lands a nice looking body shot.

Hail Satan dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ness has his takedown stuffed and Satan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A momentary lapse in concentration from Satan enables Ness to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Satan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Satan keeping full guard, as Ness tries to pass. Satan keeping moving, preventing Ness from controlling successfully. Satan wants to stand and escape but Ness is having none of it. Ness trying to control but Satan is working from the bottom. Satan wants to stand but Ness is controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Satan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ness's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Satan dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Satan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Satan jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Ness is rocked! Ness gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Satan counter with a right hand. Oh Ness is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rick Ness is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Satan ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Ness's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Satan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ness scrambles back to his feet. Satan punishes Ness's body with a nice straight punch. Satan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Satan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Satan connects with a combination that backs up Ness into the cage. Satan lands a flurry of punches that gets past Ness's guard. Ness is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Satan bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hail Satan! Hail Satan retains his light heavyweight title! Hail Satan took some time post fight to say the following; 'Thank you for attending tonight's baptism.'.
