Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Richard Carter (ranked 5511 p4p, 4292 weight class) and Seiji Yamasaki (ranked 488 p4p, 443 weight class). Carter's entrance music is “Boy Would You”. A fine choice. Seiji Yamasaki is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yamasaki shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Yamasaki feints and as Carter raises his hands in defense, Yamasaki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Carter is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Carter wants to stand but Yamasaki is controlling the position.
Carter doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Yamasaki slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Carter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yamasaki doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yamasaki manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
