Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pete Reed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shrimp McGimp!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reed wants to clinch up but McGimp keeps it at a distance.

Reed closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
McGimp missing with punches from the bottom.
McGimp slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
McGimp is pulling down on Reed's head to control his posture.
Reed looking to pass the guard.
Reed prevents McGimp from getting back to his feet.

Reed stands up from McGimp's guard - Reed perhaps looking for a knockout.
Reed looks to throw the jab but McGimp is out of range.
McGimp lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Reed circles away quickly and effectively.
Reed fails with the takedown.
Reed misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reed fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pete Reed. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McGimp throws a series of punches but Reed moves out of range.
Reed really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Reed tries to clinch but McGimp is having none of it.
McGimp with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Reed to score with a decent uppercut.

McGimp drives through with a takedown into guard.
McGimp slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Reed will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
McGimp's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
McGimp trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Reed looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but McGimp is defending well. Reed quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! McGimp has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Reed celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
