The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soprano bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Salar's head backwards.
Soprano scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Soprano fails to land the takedown.
Soprano lands with a straight right. Salar didn't see that one coming.
Soprano keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Salar.
Soprano swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Salar throws a big counter combination but Soprano scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Soprano scores with a punch to the head.
Salar thows a left - swing and a miss!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Soprano throws a right hand that misses
and Soprano takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Paulie Soprano has been cut.

Salar sends Soprano crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Salar is motioning to the referee to let Soprano up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Paulie Soprano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Salar leaves Soprano with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Soprano is still on wobbly legs! Can Salar finish him?
Salar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
