Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between MF Jones (ranked 2129 p4p, 1721 weight class) and Quentin Infantino (ranked 272 p4p, 231 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Quentin Infantino!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones scores with a jab to the jaw.
Infantino tests Jones's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jones steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Infantino.
Infantino scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jones doesn't seem bothered though.
Nice defenses there by Infantino.
Jones throws a body punch but Infantino moves out of range.
Jones looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Jones looks to throw the jab but Infantino is out of range.
Jones misses the shot to the body.
Jones throws a lazy uppercut
and Infantino counters with a nice body kick.
Jones takes a swing at Infantino's ribcage but misses.

Infantino instigates a clinch.

Jones can't find room to land a body shot as Infantino controls the action.
Jones makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Jones tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Infantino's elbow.

Jones throws a looping overhand right but Infantino ducks down to avoid it.

Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Infantino.
Jones needs to keep his hands up - Infantino had a free shot at his head there.

Jones on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
MF Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones throws a hook but Infantino avoids it easily.

Infantino keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jones pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Infantino does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jones takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Infantino wants to slow Jones down by chopping away at his legs.
Jones is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
A nice leg kick from Infantino, right into the meat of the thigh.
Infantino avoids a kick to the body.
Jones lands an overhand right.
Jones takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Nice straight punches there by Infantino. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Infantino.

Jones tries a body shot but Infantino blocks it.

Infantino goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Infantino is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Infantino connects with a single shot there.

Jones sends Infantino crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Jones is motioning to the referee to let Infantino up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Infantino is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Jones had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones avoids the body shot from Infantino.
Jones closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Infantino uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones throws a hook but Infantino blocks it.
Infantino misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jones throws the left hand but Infantino avoids the punch easily.
Infantino looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Quentin Infantino dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
It seemed like Infantino was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Infantino throws a nice head kick!
Jones takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like MF Jones has been cut.
Jones takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jones pounces like a tiger and cracks Infantino with a vicious hook! Infantino is down but not out! Jones follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
