The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pie gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

and Kawasaki counters with a straight right hand.

Pie tries to move into range but Kawasaki moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kawasaki moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pie misses with a double jab.
Kawasaki swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Donk. Kawasaki catches Pie right on the button with a cross.

Kawasaki scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Kawasaki fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Pie on the side of the head.
Pie lands a jab to Kawasaki's midsection.
Kawasaki connects with a right that clearly hurt Pie. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Kawasaki proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Pie collapses and taps out under the pressure!
