Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Shine (ranked 2010 p4p, 2356 weight class) and Ford Kish (ranked 0 p4p, 276 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kish's choice of entrance music: Tom MacDonald - "Dirty Money". Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sonny Shine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ford Kish! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kish connects with the punch. Kish lands the left hand. Shine connects with a crisp jab. Shine moves out of range of the body kick from Kish.
Shine has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Shine closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Shine misses with the head strike.
Shine lands a nice shot to the body. Shine breaks the clinch.
Shine throws a leg kick and Kish counters with a straight right hand. Kish lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shine at a distance.
Shine looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Kish fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shine lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Shine misses with a leg kick and Kish counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kish looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Sonny Shine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shine gets a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Kish. A short right from Shine on the inside. A head punch blocked on the inside by Kish. Kish taking a breather. Shine throws a punch but it's blocked by Kish. Shine lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kish or not. Shine has a couple of punches blocked by Kish.
Shine misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Shine blocks a body shot from Kish. Shine tries to work over Kish's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shine throws a punch but it's blocked by Kish. Shine working aggressively here.
Kish scores with an uppercut up the middle. Shine escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shine throws a low kick but Kish moves out of range easily. Kish appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Shine connects with a high kick. Kish throws a half hearted mid kick. A little feinted left hand from Shine on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Kish throws a sloppy body shot
and Shine makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kish really felt that one! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shine connects with a single shot there. Kish thows a body kick. Shine tries to catch it but that hurt him. Kish looks to throw the jab but Shine is out of range. Shine throws a head kick that misses and Kish counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Kish throws a body kick that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kish gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Shine. Kish slips a jab and a cross from Shine.
Kish throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Shine slips a straight right by Kish. Shine misses with a low kick as Kish jumps back. Kish is looking to land body kicks. Shine throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Kish counters with a stiff right hand. A jab from Kish misses. Shine throws a right hand that misses
and Kish counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Shine takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Shine wants to slow Kish down by chopping away at his legs. A nice side step and Kish releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kish throws a body shot but no joy. A decent looking cross lands there for Shine. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kish throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Shine crashing down! Shine tries to stagger back to his feet but Kish just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Shine asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ford Kish! Ford Kish looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'How I feel after a win? I feel like you feel once you find a dark corner to count the money you got from that 7-11 after pointing a squirt gun in their face. Like an inner city democrat. I mean... like a criminal.
Take this mic, I'm out. I get more sense from the CDC than you'. Sonny Shine was interviewed post fight and said 'I'm sorry mom and dad. Please don't make me go back in the hole.'.
