Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Braylon Mason!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Osrick Dirksz!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mason moves into the clinch successfully.
Mason has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Dirksz is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mason to keep the fight standing.
Dirksz prevents Mason from breaking the clinch.
Dirksz wants a takedown.

Mason ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mason no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Mason is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dirksz trying to control but Mason is working from the bottom.
Dirksz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Mason has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mason wants to stand but Dirksz is controlling the position.
Mason is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Mason darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Dirksz wants to improve his position but Mason is controlling well.
Dirksz wants to control but Mason is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Dirksz is looking for a sweep. Mason is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dirksz keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Mason is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Dirksz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mason wants to control but Dirksz is keeping him busy.
Dirksz tries to roll over but Mason keeps him under control.
Mason keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Mason passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dirksz!
Dirksz is desperately trying to improve his position but Mason has a good base and remains in mount.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mason controlling the pace for now.
Dirksz tries to lock up and control but Mason gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Dirksz really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Mason will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dirksz has given up his back here.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Mason's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Dirksz trying to control the action but Mason just sinks the hooks in.
I really don't envy Dirksz right now.
Mason really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Dirksz.
You can see the frustration on Dirksz's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Dirksz defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Mason's arms.
Dirksz is keeping busy.
Dirksz tries to escape but Mason has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Mason has good solid back control here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dirksz wants to control his opponent's hands but Mason gets his hands free.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Mason is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dirksz is controlling him.

Dirksz content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Dirksz won't allow Mason to get back to his feet.

Mason is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dirksz is aware though and is defending well.
Dirksz chips away with some ground and pound.
Mason looking to control.
Dirksz scoring with punches to the head and body.
Dirksz wants to pass the guard but Mason is keeping the position.
Mason working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dirksz.
Mason wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dirksz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dirksz wants to control from the top but Mason keeps moving.

Dirksz sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Mason doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Dirksz paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Mason - great work!
