Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Janos Paprikas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Cengiz Dana!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dana throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dana throws a hook to the side of Paprikas's head but Paprikas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Paprikas lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Dana misses with a hook
and Paprikas counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Dana stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Paprikas.
Cengiz Dana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Dana throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dana just misses with a punch to the body.
Dana misses with a right hand
and Paprikas counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Dana throws a right hand that misses
and Paprikas counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Cengiz Dana has been cut.
Dana darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Dana misses with an uppercut.
Dana misses with a looping left.
Paprikas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dana.
Paprikas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dana moves away.
Paprikas slips under a jab from Dana.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Paprikas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dana swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dana takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Paprikas tries to clinch up but Dana circles away and keeps his distance.
Paprikas lands a nice shot that snaps Dana's head back.
Paprikas scores with a head kick. Dana tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Dana is rocked!
Dana throws a poor cross that misses
and Paprikas counters with a huge left! Dana is in big trouble! He's backing up but Paprikas isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Dana from any more damage. A dominating finish by Paprikas!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Janos Paprikas!
Janos Paprikas bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
