Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jimmy Dean!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera lands a head kick!
Dean with a lazy takedown attempt
and Rivera counters with a straight right hand.
Rivera getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Rivera throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Rivera scoring well with a low kick there.
Rivera tries a head kick but it misses.
Kamren Rivera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dean drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dean passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rivera is looking for a sweep.

Dean looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Dean tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Dean is looking to take a break and control but Rivera is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dean tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dean has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Dean is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rivera is trying to escape and Dean transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rivera is forced to tap! Nice work there by Dean! Very nice indeed!
