Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Baki Hanma (ranked 5615 p4p, 4377 weight class) and Phillip Ziskie (ranked 490 p4p, 419 weight class). Phillip Ziskie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phillip Ziskie!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Hanma misses.
Ziskie shoots in for a takedown but Hanma shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ziskie avoids the body shot from Hanma.
Hanma with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hanma circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hanma throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Ziskie is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hanma sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hanma scores with a nice head shot.
A slow jab from Hanma misses its intended target.
Hanma looks for the body kick but Ziskie saw that one coming.
Hanma lands with a thumping leg kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Baki Hanma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phillip Ziskie.
Hanma is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Hanma pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ziskie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hanma throws a big counter combination but Ziskie scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Ziskie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hanma tries to avoid it but Ziskie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hanma to the ground. Hanma escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hanma tried to counter with a leg kick but Ziskie avoided it.
Hanma throws a series of punches but Ziskie moves out of range.
Ziskie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hanma pinned against the cage. Hanma gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ziskie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hanma defends it nicely.

Hanma just misses with a punch to the body.
Baki Hanma is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fighters circling - Hanma throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hanma lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Hanma jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Ziskie tries to clinch but Hanma moves out of range.
Hanma is looking to counter punch.

Hanma takes a swing at Ziskie's ribcage but misses.
Ziskie has his takedown stuffed
and Hanma counters with a nice uppercut.
Ziskie shoots in for a double leg but Hanma sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hanma slaps away a takedown attempt from Ziskie, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and Hanma connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Hanma delivers a nice body kick.
Hanma lands an overhand right.
Ziskie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hanma.
Hanma connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ziskie momentarily.
Ziskie is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hanma.
Ziskie slips under a jab.
And Ziskie tries to counter it with a takedown but Hanma pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Ziskie takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ziskie wants to clinch.

Ziskie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hanma throws out the jab.
Ziskie fails with the takedown

A head kick lands from Hanma that sends Ziskie to the canvas. Ziskie tries to scramble back to his feet but Hanma brings him back down into side control.
Ziskie is still in real trouble! Can Hanma finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hanma decides to stand up, so the ref orders Ziskie to his feet.
Hanma throws an overhand right that drops Ziskie like a sack of potatoes! Hanma dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
