Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jerethan Treyold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Timmy Tung!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Treyold looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Treyold loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Treyold avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Tung looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Treyold stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tung swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tung tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Treyold with a flurry of punches that miss.

Tung manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Treyold manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Treyold has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Treyold pulls Tung in close to his closed guard and prevents Tung from doing any damage or advancing position.
Treyold looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Treyold wants to stand up but Tung is controlling him.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Treyold shoots and misses
enabling Tung to counter with a crisp jab.
Treyold really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Treyold shoots in for a double leg but Tung sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tung lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Treyold fails with a takedown attempt.
Tung is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Despite the aggression on Tung's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

and Tung counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Tung ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

An inside leg kick lands from Treyold.
Jerethan Treyold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Treyold gets a takedown into half guard.
Treyold not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Tung is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Treyold frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Treyold lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Treyold tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tung swats him away and circles back towards the center.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Treyold does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Treyold throws a sloppy head kick and Tung moves out of range easily.
Tung wants to counter the offense by Treyold and move into the clinch position.

Tung gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Treyold to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Tung looking for a guillotine here but Treyold defends easily.
Treyold slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Tung is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Treyold controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Treyold is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Treyold accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Tung escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Treyold gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Treyold working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Treyold is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tung can do to turn this around?
Tung looking for a sweep. Not yet Tung, not yet.

Treyold got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tung has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Treyold has managed to get both his arms back between Tung's legs - danger averted.

Treyold makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Treyold loads up on a big left hand. Tung felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Treyold looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Tung can't hide his disappointment, as Treyold celebrates the victory.
