Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Demyan Pulaski (ranked 2465 p4p, 3140 weight class) and Charles Lee Ray (ranked 284 p4p, 362 weight class). Pulaski comes to the cage accompanied by Dan Farber - "Don't Touch". These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Demyan Pulaski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charles Lee Ray! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ray lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. We've been told by Pulaski's head coaches at Ironbound MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Ray lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Demyan Pulaski has been cut. Ray scores with a one two! Pulaski had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Pulaski staying out of range there. Pulaski has managed to clinch.
Pulaski lands with a light punch inside. Ray tries to break the clinch but Pulaski is controlling the position. Pulaski blocking some punches.
Ray tries to break free but Pulaski pushes him back against the cage. Ray wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Pulaski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ray throws a series of punches but Pulaski moves out of range. Ray throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ray throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Ray falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pulaski cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ray throws a jab when Pulaski was well out of range. It looked like Pulaski wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Ray lands a jab to Pulaski's midsection. Ray lands with a good body shot. Ray throws a lazy uppercut
and Pulaski counters with a stiff right hand. Pulaski takes one to the chin there. Ray jabs at Pulaski's body. Ray throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pulaski. Pulaski walks into a stiff left hand from Ray. Ray misses with a series of wild punches.
A punch combination from Ray misses. Pulaski throwing a counter right hand but Ray manages to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ray throws a right hand that misses
and Pulaski counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Ray scores with a sloppy right hand. Pulaski should have avoided that one. A looping hook to the body misses from Ray. Pulaski does a little dance to reset his feet. A quick step to the side and Pulaski tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Pulaski fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ray, pushing him back against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Pulaski fails to land. Pulaski lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ray backwards. Pulaski lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Pulaski gets through Ray's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pulaski creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Pulaski lands a nice uppercut. Ray breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ray throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pulaski counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ray! Pulaski lets Ray back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Ray is rocked! Ray is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Pulaski like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Pulaski from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charles Lee Ray! After winning the bout, Charles Lee Ray thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
