Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Khamzat Magomedov (ranked 1201 p4p, 1709 weight class) and El President (ranked 159 p4p, 216 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Khamzat Magomedov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, El President! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! President cracks Magomedov with a good jab. President swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Magomedov shoots and misses enabling President to counter with a crisp jab. President throws an overhand right that lands on Magomedov's shoulder, as Magomedov tries to avoid the shot. A left lands for President. President fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Magomedov manages to avoid it. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! No luck with that takedown attempt from Magomedov. Magomedov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Magomedov looking to pass the guard. Magomedov is fighting to break President's control of his arms but President is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. That's one minute gone in the round. Magomedov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Magomedov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Magomedov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed President's guard. Magomedov wants to work for an arm triangle but President is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Magomedov looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Magomedov has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can President defend it? Magomedov steps over the head and cranks it - President is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Magomedov!
