Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Aleksandar Volkanovski (ranked 3829 p4p, 4009 weight class) and Torsten Mjölnir (ranked 416 p4p, 424 weight class). Volkanovski comes to the cage accompanied by 2pac - Hail Mary. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick from Mjölnir, right into the meat of the thigh.
Volkanovski ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Mjölnir scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Volkanovski doesn't seem bothered though.
Volkanovski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mjölnir paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mjölnir is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Torsten Mjölnir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mjölnir connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Volkanovski moves in looking to clinch but Mjölnir pushes him off.

Volkanovski walks into a big right hand from Mjölnir and goes down! The referee sends Mjölnir to a neutral corner as Volkanovski gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.

Volkanovski throws a series of punches but Mjölnir moves out of range.
It seemed like Mjölnir was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Volkanovski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mjölnir.
Volkanovski lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mjölnir backs up against the cage.

Mjölnir scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Volkanovski beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Oh Volkanovski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mjölnir cracks Volkanovski with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Volkanovski is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Volkanovski is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Volkanovski could not beat the count!
