Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Jacob Song (ranked 4303 p4p, 25377 weight class) and Ricardo Diaz (ranked 298 p4p, 379 weight class). Diaz has chosen Green Goblin Mode as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jacob Song! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ricardo Diaz! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz lands a nice shot that snaps Song's head back.
Diaz tries to clinch up but Song circles away and keeps his distance. Diaz has managed to clinch.
Diaz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Song manages to break the clinch.
Diaz lands a jab. Diaz tries to clinch there but Song circles away.
Diaz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Song throws a right and a left that Diaz avoids nicely. Diaz is looking to clinch. Song scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Ricardo Diaz has been cut. Diaz drives through and clinches with Song against the cage.
Diaz lands a nice elbow. Nice elbow from Diaz. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Song breaks the clinch.
Song misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Diaz.
Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Song paws at him with a jab and circles away. Song was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Song connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Diaz's hands.
Diaz is rocked! Song misses with a wild combination.
Diaz flicks out a counter leg kick but Song steps away. Diaz is still on wobbly legs! Can Song finish him? Diaz gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Song breaks from the clinch.
Diaz seems to have recovered his senses. A low kick lands for Diaz.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Song just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Diaz has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jacob Song! In defeat, Ricardo Diaz stepped up to the mic, saying 'I don't accept this! The fight's outcome? A sham! Every blow I dealt was a testament to my dominance. They can keep their trophy; my spirit remains undefeated. This isn't over, not by a long shot!'.
