Francis felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Francis sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Globe's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Francis is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Globe pulls his head out easily.

Globe uses his free foot to push down on Francis's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Francis.

Globe can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Francis is looking to escape.

Globe is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Francis is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Globe is really struggling to control Francis but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Francis keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Francis wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
