Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assurnipilu misses with a wild body shot.
Jansen gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Assurnipilu.

It looks like Jordan Jansen has been cut.
Assurnipilu looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Assurnipilu clobbers Jansen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jansen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Assurnipilu.
Jansen throws a body punch but Assurnipilu moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Assurnipilu ducks under a wild hook from Jansen.
Assurnipilu looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Jansen lands a jab to the head.

Assurnipilu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jansen moves away.

Jansen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Assurnipilu throws a lazy right hand but Jansen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jansen looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Jansen takes a swing at Assurnipilu's ribcage but misses.
A countering left hand to the body from Assurnipilu misses.
Assurnipilu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jansen closes the distance but Assurnipilu moves to the side
enabling Assurnipilu to counter with a crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Assurnipilu lands an overhand right.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jansen, as that shot connected.
Jansen fails to land with a series of punches.
Jansen walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Assurnipilu counters with a straight right hand.

Jansen is rocked!

Assurnipilu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jansen.
Jansen scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Jordan Jansen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Assurnipilu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jansen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jansen jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jansen tries to bum rush Assurnipilu with a series of wild strikes but Assurnipilu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A little jabbing left from Assurnipilu on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Jansen lands a glancing blow to the side of Assurnipilu's head.

Jansen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Assurnipilu.
Jansen throws a poor cross that misses
and Assurnipilu counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jansen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jansen missing with a left hand there. Assurnipilu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Jansen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Assurnipilu.
Assurnipilu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jansen throws out the jab.

Assurnipilu connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jansen momentarily.
Assurnipilu uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jansen.
Jansen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Assurnipilu cracks Jansen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Jansen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Assurnipilu finish him?
Oh Jansen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jordan Jansen's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jansen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Assurnipilu.
Assurnipilu lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Jansen up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Assurnipilu from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Jansen's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nund Assurnipilu!
