The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Madison looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Russell lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Madison is looking to clinch but Russell is avoiding it.
Russell drops down looking for a counter takedown but Madison sprawls and moves away.
Madison looks to land a combination but Russell avoids it well.

Madison throws a hook to the side of Russell's head but Russell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
