Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Deon Graves (ranked 1478 p4p, 3880 weight class) and Kyle Prepolec (ranked 162 p4p, 377 weight class). Graves's entrance music is THE ZOO. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Deon Graves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Prepolec!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Graves misses its intended target.
Prepolec keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Graves.
Graves throws a big shot that misses.
Graves lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Prepolec moves into the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Prepolec fails to land.
Prepolec manages to break the clinch.
Prepolec slips under a jab from Graves.
Prepolec drops his hands momentarily and Graves takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Graves misses with a left hand
and Prepolec counters with a straight right hand.
Graves misses with a body shot.
Prepolec raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Prepolec has Graves up against the cage in a clinch.
Graves jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Prepolec walks away with a smile on his face. Graves gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Prepolec avoids the body shot from Graves.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Graves misses with a combination
and Prepolec counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Graves looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Prepolec throws the left hand but Graves avoids the punch easily.
Graves lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Prepolec moves into the clinch.
Graves blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Prepolec lands a hook that snaps the head of Graves backwards.

Prepolec swings wildly with an uppercut but Graves uses good head movement to avoid it.
Graves struggles to land a body shot inside as Prepolec controls his hands.
Graves misses with a punch to the body.
Graves misses with a hook to the ribs.

Graves is trying to force a seperation but Prepolec has the dominant position.
Graves lands a shoulder strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Prepolec misses with the head strike.
Prepolec fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Graves lands a body shot.

Prepolec pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Deon Graves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Graves throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Prepolec sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Prepolec takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Graves lands a really nice looking cross but Prepolec seems unphased.
Prepolec is rocked!
Graves weaves into range and cracks Prepolec right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Prepolec goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Graves is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Deon Graves!
