Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Monni Mantzurin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Urian Brlacher!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Joseph Jones and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brlacher shoots in for a double leg but Mantzurin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mantzurin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mantzurin lands in his opponent's guard.
Mantzurin trying to control the position from guard on top but Brlacher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Brlacher wants to sweep but no luck.
Brlacher looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Brlacher isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mantzurin stacks Brlacher on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mantzurin!
Mantzurin looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Mantzurin is looking to take a break and control but Brlacher is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Mantzurin drives through with a takedown into Brlacher's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mantzurin drops back looking for a leg! Brlacher is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brlacher manages to kick Mantzurin off! Mantzurin jumps back into Brlacher's guard.
Brlacher is looking for a triangle but Mantzurin pushes his legs off easily.
Brlacher working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mantzurin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mantzurin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
