Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Lesage (ranked 5059 p4p, 3184 weight class) and Cameron McNab (ranked 493 p4p, 368 weight class). Robbie Lesage has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robbie Lesage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cameron McNab! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesage tries to close the distance and clinch up but McNab swats him away and circles back towards the center. McNab drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. McNab lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. McNab is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. McNab with a nice head shot there. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McNab accidentally thumps the mat. That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lesage pivots, looking for a leg kick but McNab is out of range and Lesage settles back down. Cameron McNab seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McNab throws a jab but it's blocked by Lesage. McNab lands with a shot to the body. McNab has been the more effective fighter overall so far. McNab avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lesage takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Donk. McNab catches Lesage right on the button with a cross. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McNab connects with a nice short shot to Lesage's temple.

Lesage can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McNab controls the pace. Lesage will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
