The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Chase misses.
Roman Hayes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Chase. No joy for Hayes on that attempt.
Hayes throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Chase counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Chase wants to take a breather but Hayes is having none of it.
Chase looks to land a strike but Hayes avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Chase chips away with some ground and pound.
Chase keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hayes's head.

Hayes looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Chase is defending well. Hayes quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Chase has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Hayes celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
