Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Hammond (ranked 3395 p4p, 5758 weight class) and Kaden Stephens (ranked 373 p4p, 507 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyler Hammond! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Kaden Stephens! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Hammond looks to land a left hand but Stephens moved out of range nicely. Stephens is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stephens gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hammond. Stephens with a lazy takedown attempt and Hammond connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Stephens looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Stephens fails with the takedown and Hammond counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hammond leaves Stephens with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hammond misses with an uppercut. Stephens saw that one coming. Hammond scores with a decent looking hook. Stephens fails with the takedown and Hammond counters with a lovely straight right hand! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stephens gets the takedown into side control. Stephens tries to move to mount but Hammond blocks the move with his legs. Hammond is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Hammond is trying to control Stephens's posture but Stephens avoids it. Hammond looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Stephens is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hammond's shoulder. That is not cool. Hammond can't do much from the bottom here. Stephens working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hammond can't do much from the bottom here. Stephens wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hammond, who protects the arm well. Hammond is trying to control Stephens's posture but Stephens avoids it.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Stephens advances to full mount. Stephens is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hammond can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Stephens is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Hammond is defending well though. Stephens let's go of the attempt for now.
