Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gherman Cornouhov (ranked 3684 p4p, 4015 weight class) and Trevin Prince (ranked 277 p4p, 292 weight class). Cornouhov comes to the cage accompanied by ULTRAKILL - The World Looks Red. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gherman Cornouhov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Trevin Prince!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Darius Henderson and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Cornouhov moves into range and clinches up with Prince.
Prince has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cornouhov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Prince misses with a hook to the ribs.
Prince manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Cornouhov scores a nice knee to the body.
Cornouhov lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Trevin Prince has been cut.
Cornouhov lands an elbow inside that Prince shrugs off.
Prince has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Cornouhov after a bit of a struggle.
Prince wants to take the fight to the mat but Cornouhov manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Gherman Cornouhov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevin Prince.

Prince wants the takedown. Cornouhov is fighting it off but Prince persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cornouhov's guard against the cage.

Cornouhov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cornouhov is trying to control the position but Prince postures up.
Cornouhov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cornouhov lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Prince can't keep his opponent in guard - Cornouhov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Prince tries to get to full guard but Cornouhov has control of the leg.

Prince is staying active underneath Cornouhov, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Prince keeping hold of Cornouhov's head, controlling as best he can.
Prince is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Prince won't allow Cornouhov to pass to mount.
Cornouhov is keen to just control but Prince is a slippery customer.
Cornouhov wants to free his trapped foot but Prince is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Prince is looking to get back to is feet but Cornouhov passes into side control.

Cornouhov swings around for an armbar but Prince sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Cornouhov's guard.
Prince seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
It looks like Prince might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Cornouhov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Prince cracks Cornouhov with a solid left hand.
Prince makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Prince with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Cornouhov is looking to improve his position.
Cornouhov wants to control but Prince is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Prince is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Let's hope that Prince has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close round but I would say that Gherman Cornouhov will probably get the nod.

Prince moves into range and clinches up with Cornouhov.

Cornouhov comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Prince changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cornouhov fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been informed that Prince has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cornouhov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Prince fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Cornouhov square on the jaw! Damn, Cornouhov is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Trevin Prince!
Trevin Prince bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
In defeat, Gherman Cornouhov stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sometimes we win , sometimes we lose , thats just part of life.'.
