Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dominik Ferdinand!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joey Nutz!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferdinand misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ferdinand misses with a few strikes there.
Ferdinand misses with a hook to the body
and Nutz counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Dominik Ferdinand has been cut.
Nutz loads up on a big right hand but Ferdinand slips the punch.
Ferdinand throws a big counter combination but Nutz scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Ferdinand throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Some wild striking there from Ferdinand.
Nutz misses with a straight left.
Ferdinand throwing a counter right hand but Nutz manages to avoid it.
Nutz misses with a left hand
and Ferdinand counters with a series of strikes. Nutz will be more careful next time no doubt.
Nutz lands with an overhand left.
Ferdinand has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ferdinand there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nutz lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nutz misses with a leg kick
and Ferdinand counters with a nice leg kick.
Nutz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A swing and a miss from Nutz.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ferdinand fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Nutz is out of range.
Ferdinand scores with a nice head shot.
Nutz tries to score with a low kick but Ferdinand moves his leg out of the way.
Nutz connects with a jab.
Nutz paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nutz on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Some wild striking there from Ferdinand.
Ferdinand misses with a few strikes there.
Nutz darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Nutz throws a leg kick that misses.
Ferdinand tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nutz was well out of range. Poor timing from Ferdinand.
Nutz scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Ferdinand is rocked!
Nutz blocks the body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ferdinand throws a leg kick that misses.
Ferdinand stalks Nutz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nutz's face. Nutz staggers backwards, shaken.
Ferdinand is breathing heavily.
Nutz lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Nutz throws an overhand right that lands on Ferdinand's shoulder, as Ferdinand tries to avoid the shot.
Nutz cracks Ferdinand with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Nutz has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ferdinand to stand back up!
Oh Ferdinand is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dominik Ferdinand's cut is getting worse.
Ferdinand drops his hands momentarily. Nutz doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Ferdinand staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Ferdinand doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joey Nutz!
