Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Petar Georgiev (ranked 5835 p4p, 3634 weight class) and Kareem Ford (ranked 532 p4p, 408 weight class). Petar Georgiev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Petar Georgiev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kareem Ford!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Georgiev.
Ford keeps the fight on the outside.
A countering left hand to the body from Ford misses.
Decent striking displayed by Ford there.
Ford cracks Georgiev with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Georgiev looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ford finish him?
Georgiev will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Georgiev takes the fight into the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Ford is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Georgiev pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Georgiev manages to pull guard.
Ford thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ford drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ford jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ford stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Georgiev swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Georgiev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ford on the ground.

Ford drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ford seems to have locked his on tight now - Georgiev screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ford, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Kareem Ford!
Kareem Ford got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
