Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Miller (ranked 25778 p4p, 25074 weight class) and Frank Journeyman (ranked 502 p4p, 523 weight class). Journeyman has chosen Schizophrenic Phonk as his entrance music. Sergio Miller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sergio Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Journeyman!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller avoids the head kick by Journeyman.

Miller closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Journeyman to the mat! Journeyman manages to get full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Journeyman uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Journeyman shoots in looking for a takedown but Miller manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Journeyman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Journeyman looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Miller holds on and takes a little breather.
Journeyman works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Miller has hold of Journeyman's hands but Journeyman slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Journeyman wants to take a breather but Miller is having none of it.

Miller is trying to stand up here but Journeyman is controlling him well.
Journeyman blocks the strikes from Miller.
Miller is controlling Journeyman's trapped leg to prevent Journeyman from advancing to side control.
Journeyman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Miller's head.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Journeyman looks to land a combination. Miller sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Journeyman misses with a straight left.

Journeyman has managed to clinch.

Miller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Journeyman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miller moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

A combination from Journeyman does no damage.

Journeyman is working for takedown but Miller is calmly controlling the position for now.

Miller breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Miller counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Miller's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Journeyman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Miller is controlling him.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Miller seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Journeyman for as long as he can get away with.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Journeyman wants to stand up but Miller is controlling him.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Miller manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Journeyman on his heels. He'll look to pass Journeyman's guard now, I'm sure.

Miller scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Miller drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Journeyman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Miller has Journeyman in his guard.

Miller wants to get back to his feet but Journeyman is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Miller is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Journeyman has his hands clasped together but Miller extends and breaks Journeyman's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Miller.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Sergio Miller!
Frank Journeyman was interviewed post fight and said 'It is what it is and i will come back stronger,its never over'.
