Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iov Kuzmin (ranked 1146 p4p, 1135 weight class) and Projekti Yksi (ranked 150 p4p, 148 weight class). Kuzmin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is La Caution - Thé à la Menthe. Iov Kuzmin is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Projekti Yksi!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yksi lands an overhand right.
Yksi connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kuzmin. Kuzmin circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Yksi misses with a straight left.
Yksi just misses with a punch to the body.
Yksi darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Yksi swings for the body but Kuzmin moves out of range.
Yksi's corner calls for a 1-2. Yksi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yksi has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Yksi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Iov Kuzmin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

No joy there for Yksi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kuzmin moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Yksi moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Kuzmin goes down! Can Yksi finish him!?

Yksi lands a couple of decent looking shots.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kuzmin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yksi is one step ahead there.

Yksi postures up in Kuzmin's guard and throws a big left but Kuzmin blocks it.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Projekti Yksi dominated that round.
That's time! Kuzmin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Yksi throws a lazy uppercut
and Kuzmin counters with a big uppercut that knocks Yksi off his feet! Kuzmin dives into side control looking to finish!
It looks like Projekti Yksi has been cut.

Kuzmin is working Yksi over with some ground and pound from side control.
Yksi is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yksi tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Yksi can't do much from the bottom here.
Yksi wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Yksi seems to have recovered his senses.

Kuzmin lands an elbow.
Kuzmin lands a strong strike to the head of Yksi. That's dazed him! Kuzmin looking to finish here. Yksi is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Kuzmin lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Iov Kuzmin!
Iov Kuzmin bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
