And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chen Zhang!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tar Monster lands the left hand.
Tar Monster missing with a left hand there. Zhang was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tar Monster works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Zhang lands a jab to the nose.
Tar Monster scores with a nice right hand.
Tar Monster's corner calls for a 1-2. Tar Monster obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Zhang is rocked!
Tar Monster lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Zhang head around and knocks him out cold! Tar Monster hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Armus Tar Monster!
Armus Tar Monster was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
