With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Benny Sanderson!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Rabat lands a jab to Sanderson's midsection.
De Rabat fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sanderson manages to avoid it.

Sanderson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanderson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Sanderson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
De Rabat wants to control but Sanderson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Sanderson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De Rabat has hold of Sanderson's hands but Sanderson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
De Rabat is trying to maintain the position but Sanderson is very close to passing his half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sanderson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks De Rabat with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
De Rabat tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Sanderson has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Sanderson cracks De Rabat with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Sanderson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of De Rabat's face.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Sanderson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
