The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Silva lands with a straight right. Khumbo Iii didn't see that one coming.
Silva dips to his left and cracks Khumbo Iii with an uppercut!
Silva closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Silva lunges at Khumbo Iii with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Khumbo Iii's hand.
Silva lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Silva.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A lazy left from Silva finds it's target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Oooooh!!! Silva has knocked Khumbo Iii down with a huge combo! Silva steps away and waves a wobbly Khumbo Iii back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Khumbo Iii is rocked!
Silva tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Khumbo Iii manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Khumbo Iii appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Khumbo Iii gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Khumbo Iii tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Silva is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Khumbo Iii buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Khumbo Iii!! Khumbo Iii is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Silva throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
