Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adan Andrade (ranked 4025 p4p, 4112 weight class) and Harper Douglas (ranked 298 p4p, 300 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

Douglas closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Andrade to the mat! Andrade manages to get full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Andrade is on top in guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Douglas can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Douglas controls Andrade momentarily but Andrade frees himself.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Andrade stops Douglas from standing up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Andrade takes a swing at Douglas's ribcage but misses.
The fighters circling - Andrade throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
And Douglas tries to counter it with a takedown but Andrade pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Andrade blocks a head kick by Douglas.

Douglas looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Andrade is trying to get back to full guard.
It looks like Douglas is going to stand back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Andrade is refusing to be controlled, as Douglas sits in half guard.
Douglas is controlling the pace.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Andrade moves into full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Adan Andrade will probably get the nod.

Douglas tries to land a leg kick but Andrade saw it coming and moves away.
Douglas slaps away a takedown attempt from Andrade, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Adan Andrade is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Douglas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Andrade sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Andrade is looking to counter with a body kick.
Douglas just misses with a punch to the body.

Douglas scores with a takedown into Andrade's guard.
Andrade has his hands on Douglas's head, controlling the position.
Douglas wants to stand but Andrade is controlling his posture from full guard.

Andrade is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Douglas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Douglas would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Douglas is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Andrade tries to clinch but Douglas moves out of range.
Douglas tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A head kick misses from Douglas.
Andrade wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Andrade pushes Douglas up against the ropes in a clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Douglas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Andrade shoots in and gets a takedown into Douglas's guard.
Andrade sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Douglas's guard.

I would just about give that final round to Harper Douglas.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
