Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 40 - 60 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 65 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Buktot looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bitok is fending him off so far but Buktot persists. Nope, Bitok circles away and we're back to standing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

A close round but Kulata Bitok will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bitok closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Buktot to the mat! Buktot manages to get full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bitok shoots in looking for a takedown but Buktot manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bitok's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dawindi Buktot will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Buktot crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bitok - the referee stops the clock and Buktot gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bitok. Buktot manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Buktot has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bitok off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
