Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 23941 p4p, 23958 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walay Buut is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 40 - 55 - 10, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 55 - 47 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buut shoots in for a takedown but Mibangon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mibangon is looking to counter with head kicks. Buut shoots in looking for a takedown but Mibangon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buut's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mibangon throws a big counter combination but Buut scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Buut gets a takedown into half guard. Mibangon is trying to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut trying to mount his opponent but Mibangon defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mibangon trying to control here.
Mibangon tries to get to full guard but Buut has control of the leg. Mibangon keeping hold of Buut's head, controlling as best he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Buut is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buut shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mibangon as he avoids it easily. Minatay Mibangon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut. Mibangon fails with the takedown and Buut makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Mibangon really felt that one!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Buut leaves Mibangon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Buut throws a wild body kick that Mibangon sees coming a mile off. Mibangon tries for a takedown but Buut sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Buut thinks about the counter body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mibangon drives through with a takedown into guard. Mibangon trying to control but Buut is working from the bottom. Mibangon engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walay Buut dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Buut looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mibangon is fending him off so far but Buut persists. Nope, Mibangon circles away and we're back to standing. Buut closes the distance and clinches up with Mibangon, looking for a takedown. Buut pushes Mibangon against the cage but Mibangon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. And Mibangon counters with a quick kick to the body but Buut blocks it. Mibangon scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Mibangon controls the position from side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Buut's shoulder. That is not cool. Buut tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mibangon takes a little break here. Buut wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Mibangon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Buut. Mibangon is looking to counter with a body kick. Minatay Mibangon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut. Buut fails with the takedown. It appears Mibangon was looking to counter with a kick there.

Mibangon jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Mibangon fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Buut to the ground. Mibangon is now in Buut's guard. Mibangon controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Mibangon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Buut can do to turn this around? Buut controlling Mibangon's posture. Minatay Mibangon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mibangon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Mibangon has clasped his hands together around Buut's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Buut bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Mibangon fails to land the takedown. Buut looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mibangon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mibangon lands in his opponent's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Walay Buut. I think Buut has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
